You should see how he built it up though...
Why would you do that??????
Oh jesus. I totally fell out of love with it. Horrible build, the wheels are filthy. I'm shocked how you could take something so nice and make it look so bad.
But it's not just the components. Why the hell have a curly seat tube if the wheel clearance is such you could have a straight tube? I know Hetchins had a lot of clearance too but the wheel would have been touching if the tube was straight. That was the point of having the curve. Shame. Just someone that went "I want it all! Give me hetchins lugs, hellenic frame, curly stay, curved seat tube." Then didn't even ride the f*cker. Tosser.

You should put more and better pictures up.
Well my friend will, as a professional photographer be upset. With the limited time and light he had it was a pretty good outcome. Only realised as we finished due to light that he hadn't done the frame yet. They've not been edited either.
But 15 photos not enough?

Not a Gios
It's a great impression. Look here's another one sneakily looking exactly like one. Ending tonight £214.88.

Well he's a quitter. Build them up better. Or say bollocks to it, I love my bike... Either way just bloody ride them. Taking NOS hetchins lugs and then not riding them is criminal.
I can see the point of keeping a special vintage bike on the mantle piece. Something you don't want to degrade any further than time has already. Something that already was ridden and loved. Or a bike company wanting a museum piece so future generations can see it in it's glory.
But creating a new bike for yourself and not riding it? Taking all that hand crafted high performance steel and just looking at it? Utter waste. Actually it does make sense of his silly design choices. If you've got no intention of riding it then you don't have to consider and performance issues.
More wasted breath (yes I breathe on my keyboard to type) on this subject. Enough.
