So I got my frame and front wheel back from the painter (Sam Fish), and its beautiful, really beautiful. Hes done an amazing job, and for a three colour fade it only cost as much as one colour at Argos.
So I've taken a really shit photo using my macbook's web cam, which doesn't do the fade or colours, or the filling of the cutouts any justice, but gives you some idea. I really do need a decent camera:

I just need a rear wheel and I'm good to go. Thinking of a white single sided phil, laced 3x to a white H+son with white or yellow spokes. :)

harry the meet place was originally on the northside of tower bridge, on the pavement on the left just as you pass the traffic lights at the end of the bridge...
Also we need to find out the exact route of the course so we know which roads to follow, there was a bit of confusion as to exactly which roads we were to ride on, last time round...
Koolio. Why the missing out of the south bit of the marathon if I may ask? Surely thats a good chunk of the ride?

word of warning, adam from polo up here in manchester bought those mighty cranks, they need an extra wide bb spindle as the chainring for some reason tapers in (towards the stays). if you have a 107-111mm spindle (most track bbs) i'm not sure it'll work, you need a wider road spindle for multiple chainring use (119ish i think). great deal though if you can get them to work.
I have 'em on my Polo / tag machine. The 38T one. Its nice and heavy enough. But you are right about the BB. I needed a 122.5 to get a straight chain line (for a standard 42mm chain line hub). But I think 120 would be perfect chainline, mine aint perfect, but its good enough. Incidently it'll take a 3/32 and a 1/8 chain :)

do some research on the history of modolo and you'll understand why you can't ask someone to split a 25 year old NOS brake set to put it on something like this:

m'kay?
I own a bike (or a few), not a museum. Besides its not like there are only 2 in the whole world. Life would be mega dull if everyone held the same opinion as you. Thankfully they don't, and some really couldn't give a shit for your opinion, like me. And what did you hope for with the nasty, sniping and vindictive delivery style designed to ridicule?

this is a NOS rare 1980's brake set, you CANNOT split for some flouro hipster bike that'll be sold / stolen in 6 months.
harry if you really must own these, then buy the set, keep the rear and when fashion changes you can sell them as a set.
Fuck off you conceited prick.
Go find someone else to patronise.

I don't know why I said £115. I can't even afford that. £90 would be my uppermost limit.
