OK for those who dont understand I shall explain it simply

basically in each state there are a certain amount of electoral colleges depending on the population of that state. If a candidate wins that state they get all the electoral colleges.

tiffs can be 16bit (and 32)instead of jpegs 8, more latitude for curves/levels/colour changes in 16bit before posterisation and banding appear. printing is done at 8bit but major edits and photoshoppery done in 16bit.
