arrrgghh I thought they were all black with red rims - I feel terribly guilty now I didn't warn him off.
like i said dont worry! for that price he can use it and abuse it for a few months, and get a taste for whether or not the whole thing is for him or not? From what ive heard the chain is the worst part, and a decent one is only a tenner! its not like he has spent a fortune, and if he wants to move on a second hand otp is not hard to come by :)

cheap, heavy and break v easily. lots of negative reports on the forum, most owners end up replacing everything but the frame.
your better of coverting an old road frame, cheaper, gain some mechanical experience and you end up with something individual -

Selle San Marco Concor Supercorsa Saddle
This was one of a couple of options i had for a project but i did not end up using it.
As far as im aware it has never been fitted. Has one small crease right on top of the saddle no bigger than 1 cm long which is obviously from storage but can only be felt/seen close up. Also a tiny bit of dust on the rail. does not seem to have marked/pitted, shinny crome rails. Comes with orignal sticker, but not packaged. Basically NOS Condition. Im happy to answer any questions. Make me an offer, will be posted 1st class as im outside of london. Will take dibs but expect Pm and payment.

no but......
fitted my second hand time atacs from snoops after they arrived today,
/attachments/9629
practiced clipping in and out using my ebay bought shoes (north wave team mtb shoes) and leaning against the wall. I then set out to the post office tp dispatch some cranks to george sportif. got to the post office and unclipped no problem. on the way back i was absolutely loving them, such a differance to traditional cages and straps. so i decide to test how much easier it is to lock up, the answer is tonnes. go to do it again and my right foot feels very loose
got back, unclip my left foot and just lift my right off the pedal and find this has happened

the shoes could not handle my mad crazy leg strength and committed suicide it seems, rippping themselves in half

and is £30 quid down the drain. lesson learned, do not buy second hand cycling shoes from ebay, save my meagre student pennies for new ones, (or at least a decent brand) proper pissed off but can definately see the funny side of it! but despite a 10 min clipless experience it is definately the best thing since sliced bread and will not be going back!
