Andy, you massive cunt.
(Though to be fair I do have to consciously work out how old I am these days.)
49 x 19 - spin to win.Wow, as old as Villa-Ru?
And I thought the hills were looking a bit jaded.
No, fixeh skidderz around town is a young mans game and carries serious health risks for any male over 25.
And don't get me started on Laydees without a derailleur.
My name?

Seriously though base campion, the gargle, trattoria alla cima, Massimo, the gran fondo route,
f#ck I'd never seen so many vineyards back to back before.. And the gelato, swoonBernie still has my stash of gargle.. It all goes in the van for the Ardennes terminator in may..
Ohh, dear...
"Well, there was this thing called Christmas, right. And a few people came around, like, and.. well, you know how it goes...."

I did think about killing you on that hill, I think I made you aware of it at the time with my foul language...
I love that we all got shit faced on prosecco at the restaurant and rode home in the dark with 2 lights between us, a true forum ride - all it needed was someone getting stopped by the police... oh no wait, that happened the next day.
I was released without charge, despite (alleged) excess speed, no shoes and wearning cycling kit in a transit.
At least I was there to take out the restaurant tables, as well as the empties.

"All good things come, to those who wait..."
STOP PRESS; ROUTE DETAILS NOW ADDED...
This time, for probably the last Guiness Ride, we are starting from the home of the Irish in London, county Kilburn.
6:00 - 7:00 pm The Black Lion, 274 Kilburn High Road, London, NW6 2BY
The opening pub was given a brief visit on a previous ride, and we vowed to come back again. Our host is a friend of the forum, and we are sure to receive a warm welcome, with ample bike parking alongside the pub.
I will be looking for someone (Middle of Nowhere?) to use their expert knowledge to lead us cross country to our next destination.
7:30 - 8:30 Filthy McNasty's 68 Anwell Street, London EC1R 1UU
A tricky find (aim for Mount Pleasant sorting office) but a jewel of a pub, and always a favourite, if for no other reason than to demand skids from bemused cyclists heading down hill in front of the boozer.
8:45 - 9:45 O'Neils, 65 Cannon Street, London EC4N 5AA
Aim for Mansion House, and and a lovely pint, and superb meeting area will be waiting for you.
10:00 - 11:00 The Toucan, 19 Carlisle Street, Soho, W1D 3BY
The spiritual home of the Guinness Ride, and a worthy point to finish our adventure.
It is a decent ride from first to second venues, I think about 5 miles, so we will be looking to leave on time. However, a few of us will using smart phones (surely an oxymoron on night like this?) so keep an eye on the thread for precise departure times, and current locations as the evening unravels.
As usual, in honour of 50/14, dont bother with a lock, buddy up with a forum friend, old or new, and celebrate the arrival of spring, after a brutal winter.
And thus, a list;
- 50/14.
- Bernie
- Rogan
- Pinnochio Poots
- 50/14.

I have some drain rods I would swap for a paperclip...
