Im not going to read a thread about a movie before I see it, am i? What if everyuone was all like "Oh, this movie is so shit (which they did, apparently), why would anyone watch it??"
And then I'd be all like "well, if everyone else reckons its shit, it must be" and then I'd be predisposed to not enjoy the film, which I think would be doing myself a disservice. A ninety minute, seven fucking dollar, cinematic diarrhoea disservice.
So you liked it?

[QUOTE=skydancer;3562724]Here are a couple instapics from the ride (Cheers bernie- especially great spoke card this time too;)
Thanks for the help with navigation and keeping the group together.
The spokie's brilliance is all down to our very own bunny hopping, loveable giant.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you....
Apollo!"
(Oh, and the "wonderful " henna tattoo is still there, but looks more like Tigger's head, than a harp...)

"Ohh, what a night..."
The thanks.
Brian, for the warm hospitality, and stunning food at the Black Lion.
Bar staff and licencees at the other three venues.
Apollo for cracking spoke card.
Al for t shirts.
And most importantly, you magnificent crew.
It was a privelege to share a great evening in the finest of company.
Any one for a few well chosen snaps?

owie my head
Least you still have a head.
What on earth happened last night?
One minute it was delightful nibbles at the Black Lion, the next slurred jibberish at the Toucan.
Oh, and Poots, drinking whiskey to sober up, was probably the one sensible comment that was made during the whole proceedings.

ooof, what a day I'm having, going to have to race to get finished in time, and definitely going to need a large dose of vitamin G when I do.
Work, the curse of the drinking classes.
Likewise but
Labels... Check
Marker pen... Check
Spokies... Check
Old spokies... Check
On my way, see ewe gang of stout fans shortly

Can someone #guinnessride with timings and locations?
All timings in opening post.

What about directions for someone with a not very good sense of direction coming from Russell Square. I was going to head for Regents Park, go round Outer Circle and kind of head in a vague NW direction.
Does the Edgeware Road go direct to BL then? It's a grim route but less chance of me getting lost.
Googe St > Mortimer St > Wigmore St .> right into Gloucester Place
Does this help?
Alternatively Seymour Place > Lisson Grove > Abbey Road > West End Lane, basically runs parallel and is a bit nicer ride.
or head for Edgware Road Tube, and follow the A5 (Edgware Road) all the way to the Black Lion.

Maybe maybe, can I wear my ireland football kit?
You bet. Landlord is a fine upstanding Leitrim man, and a friend of the forum. See you there mister.
Oh, and the rain first thing this morning, was just to wash off the tarmac for the skid fest on the Euston underpass...
@the bishop. Less of your bleating young man. Get yourself to one of the venues, it would not be the same without you.

Is it really, really Friday?

Hello all!
We're (I am) looking forward to hosting you here on Friday. Hopefully the weather will hold out. Forecasts are not good, but they aren't reliable either. Besides, a chance of showers also means there's a chance there won't be, right? If that's the case, we have some seats outdoors, otherwise we'll have a section for you inside. We'll also put on some nibbles for you. There will also be a place in the garage for you to put your bikes, and cold Guinness on tap. Being a keen cyclist and a Guinness enthusiast myself, I'm eager to make you feel welcome in the hope that you'll come back again and again, as a group or just for fun.
If you're interested, you can see our (only slightly dated) website at http://www.blacklionguesthouse.com/
Or find us on facebook here: www.facebook.com/BlackLionLondon
and chat to us on twitter using the handle @BlackLionLondonBrian, you double diamond.
And you lot, don't miss the start, as it really is a holy grail of a pub.
Get in early
Work your lunch
Placate the boss
Pacify and satisfy your co workers
Sell your children
Mortgage your soul
... But what ever you do, just be there...

@Bernie - you, Joe Garcia, Chainbreaker and I in the soho theatre kinda €r@p?....
Was that before or after the pole dancing competition?
Anyway, I cannot say anymore until my lawyer has reviewed and cleared my posts and ensured I am not guilty of either living off immoral earnings or anti money laundering.
"Kayyyteeeee!"

I've not been on a ride for a bit, if I remember correctly the last Guinness ride I went on was a corker, the memory is a bit blurry though.....
Nope, you have it wrong.
It was total €r@p. I remember it distinctly...

Sure is, but give it a try beforehand to get a feel for the gradient and positioning on the switchbacks. Great cup of tea and slice of bread pudding will be your reward when you get to the top and the NT cafe.
