Is she part wolf hound? She's huuugggeee! :)
I'm hopefully moving to a place with a garden soon, and starting to think about getting a dog. Both bf and I like the idea of a greyhound, anyone know if there are there any charities around Oxford that rehome ex-racers?
Loads of ex-racers needing homes. Grwe is the biggest rehoming charity and they are all over the country, not just the west of England. http://www.grwe.com/
It's worth remembering that some ex racers can never be let off the lead as their recall is often non existant, but they are incredibly lazy and don't need hours of walking every day necessarily.
My other half refers to ours as cat-dog-horses rather than a normal dog
Give me a shout if you have any more greyhound questions :-)

This one?
The seller of this also has some very tasty stuff for sale:
Most notably this turbo.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cyclops-Turbo-Trainer-/221019888017?pt=UK_SportGoods_CyclAcces_RL&hash=item3375cfd991#ht_561wt_1238
aka "utter bastard machine"

Haha,
The suspension bushings tend to wear out eventually, there is a known problem with the gen iv legacy lower control arm bushings, but easily solved by replacing with poly bushes instead.
Tbh that one you linked to, if the chap has gone to the trouble of fitting 4pots and boost gauges, I would be surprised if he hadn't already upgraded the arb and poly bushed it...

Awesome - Please can I see a pic?

casati lo pro by Dan Burbridge, on FlickrRunning fixed as there is just enough movement in the semi horizontal drop ours. My seatpost was stuck when I got it so a trip to Argos was the only way to get it out... :-( don't want to get it repainted as I would never find anyone to do the paint as well as the original, it's such a nice paintjob and amazing when the sun hits it. Will take some shots of it in it's current form soon, as it's running a mavic 3g and itm dual tt bars and will prob be going back to geared.

hmm - I would agree with that up to a point
a very good turntable vs a very good CD player/dac combo and the turntable will outshine the CD player by far, but it can get to the point where you need to start considering how the music was recorded and masteredI think a lot of the time the problem being that people havent heard a really good turntable/cart/preamp combo and are thus unwilling to spend the same (or more likely more) cash on it rather than on their CD/DAC.
I have a pair of Dominator 4's in 45 Mega and they are too wide for my feet if I am honest - they are in very good condition with only a very small amount of tread wear.
Anyone have a pair of normal width 45's that they find too narrow and want to swap? (Would consider other Sidi's that have a buckle/ratchet closure with a cash adjust if necessary)
