Latin /= jazz though. Sounds like OP is digging a modal jazz sound. In terms of contemporary stuff, The Bad Plus are definitely worth checking out. Their track "And Here We Test Our Powers Of Observation" is tremendous. Also check out Polar Bear (an offshoot of Acoustic Ladyland).
I would suggest Unity by Larry Young as one of the definitive Hammond / electric organ jazz records.
Then a load of Coltrane - A Love Supreme, Crescent, and Impressions. Ascension if you're feeling adventurous.
Then also McCoy Tyner (Coltrane's pianist for many years), Keith Jarrett, and Ahmed Jahmal.
Finally, Chris Bowden's album Time Capsule is also a favourite of mine.
Hope something there takes your fancy.

Yesterday evening, at the bottom of Kingsland Road heading north, maybe 7:30-8:00pm, guy in cap on champagne-coloured fixed overtaking me at a good pace as I dawdled home. Turned to say "hi" but realised he had headphones in and game face on - possibly didn't like that I overtook him at the lights due to the phasing but maybe he always rides like that.
Hi!

No fastback or wraparound stays, so it's unlikely to be a particularly exotic Holdsworth. Lack of cut-out lugs too suggests it's nothing particularly special. I managed to build a Holdsworth Pro with full high-end Campag and Cinelli drapery for not too much the wrong side of £500, so this is madness. £1300 for what is essentially then a reasonably nice fixeh build on a well-painted 531 frame is absurd, especially when you look at how much vintage, 'Pagged-out, italian sex that sort of dorr will get you from a decent seller.
Indeed, you can get a brand new full custom with much better kit all round for that. He's just expecting to get all the money back that he's spent on it and it don't work that way.
Same with that Bob Jackson that Hugo just posted - "very expensive bare metal respray" - you'll never get that money back.
Anyway, why was it resprayed if it's a year old, unless it was bent?

The Stronglight Mygal is £50 with chainring from PX at the moment. The silver version was on my beater for a year and a half and did a great job (note that you need to put the chainring on the inside of the spider for a standard 42mm chainline). Agree with flickwg though, I would go for the Track 2000, it's only ten quid more and much beefier.

It's Velorution, moving to new premises. A friend of mine works there and is designing the refit.
