well being a fuckking retard i just dented my top tube in a freak household incident (dickhead) i think i inadvertantly promised jos the rear hub off the ventos as they are sorting out the rebuild for me.fingers crossed finally be up and riding again next week.

on hed 3 tip i now need to find a more modern track frame to put it on,il keep my eye on ebay or fingers crossed il make it to jp by end of year so might try find something there.

just had a fucking hugly infuriating accident with my new frame (not even got to ride it yet)putting up a rack in my flat the frame slipped over and clipped my clothes rail right oon the fucking top tube making this dent,Im so pissed at myself at the minute, just hoping its not critical its 2 thrids of the way down the top tube nearer the seat.

Im thinking at the minute i will keep it for my next build,but if i get skint in the mean time (highly likely) I will let you know

il second with go see jos at tour de ville i popped by this afternoon,they just got a ton of new bits and pieces in.

yeah i always had my suspicions about the hed being out of place but there was something snapping at me inside to get it when a decent priced clincher fell in my lap,il just keep hold of it for the next project

ok,well the info prior hadnt exactly been 100% favorable in doing it and having not done it myself before hand i didnt want to waste time/money building something that could damage the parts for the sake of not buying the right hub for the job.

yeas that is plan b, i think id rather to 16h if i can get the hubs

yeah i saw that,nearly bid but was unsure how they would clean up and it was the 32h rear i really wanted.guess they may re appear on ebay soon, the guy who told me about the group buy said custom drill was about 20$ extra or some thing, not to bad if its only way to get a 16h hub and it would last forever.

id expect the phil to run me about £150 for front and rear from usa,wheel set on reflection was a bit impulse buy, but saying that i saw a set of vento rims go for £240 a couple days before so not to bad price,il see what the sets like when it arrives tomo the fronts ready to roll so i can rebuild that as and when.gone a bit part mad on this build should have done a proper list before i started
