Right so, where we at?
The Pinnacle is finished.
The Canyon is almost finished (seatbolt binder issues)
The Genesis is sans crankset, awaiting a Powermeter and a possible wheel upgrade.
The Giant is finished. The Pinnacle really deserves hydro Di2 shifters.
The Canyon really deserves full 9170, and very soon a pair of bars that won't snap under pressure.
The Genesis really deserves some carbon wheels and a Superleggero seatpost.
The Giant needs some plastic pedals for pub-cruising.I miss my track bike, and in the spirit of the increased recklessness of riding breakless track bikes in the city I've made inquiries about a steel Vigorelli. Will probably bang some bottle bosses in to it, strip it, and build it up with dickhead, fixie crit parts.
I've got a cross bike in the mind garage, but it requires money for Adeline at Mecredi to build it right. It is purple and has an integrated dropper post.
I'm about to go on holiday for two weeks and won't touch a bike the whole time, so here's where I'm at.

Yes to both.
@r_mash I can't remember, some place near dartford? Details will be had in the paint porn thread I'm sure.

carbon or alloy?
carbon was just various grades of sand paper and a lot of time.
my giant I did with old (read: good) nitromors, razor blades, various grades of sand paper and a lot of time.
the pinnacle I just sprayed over the top of because I have spent too much time in my life stripping fucking bikes

Nope! They're fine. I sprayed them matte black.
The front derailleur alignment is a bit dicky, the seatpost binder bolt is still broken and the headset won't tighten up.
It's the headset that's annoying me the most. I got a low-stack headset cover from Canyon, who assured me that you don't need a split ring to preload the headset... I'm fucking convinced that you do, despite their tech team and one of their staff mechanics telling me otherwise.

Canyon should also get finished off today. I move quickly. Steerer will be chopped on the Pinnacle tomorrow.
Last thing I need is for my Cycle2Work to be approved so I can buy a powermeter and soforth for the Genesis, as I can't afford another half-decent GXP crankset for the Genesis, and then everything will be pretty much finished and rideable.
I've also started making enquiries on a steel Cinelli Vigorelli, as I miss my track bike...
