Sidewalk?
ducks
ding ding ding we have a winner!
I've been getting into an "argument" with this old lady every so often b/c she doesn't want me and the two boys I watch to ride on the sidewalk. But the problem is that it's on Fore St. in Ruislip which is very busy and just NOT safe for inexperienced 8 and 10 year olds to be riding down. So I take them on the sidewalk. But I rarely ever ride on the sidewalk by myself.

trying to goddamn sew, reading and following sommat like five pages of directions, cleaning out the goddamn bobbin cage (thank you for coming with your own tools, sewing machine!), putting everything back, and having the fucker foul up every! single! time! you try! to sew!
this is not a stab at you cliveo, I clearly have to do more reading to figure out this machine.

you can, any sub-surface line allowed bike, it's only when it's rush hour you're not allowed completely.
I thought so, too, when I first got here but apparently not. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/bicycle-tube-map.pdf
But I messed up, I said circle line and I meant central line.

am I mad in thinking that we are not supposed to cycle alongside the footpath?
this is pissing me off. the amount of times I see people cycling along the sidewalk (foot path? pavement?) yet I have been getting bleated at by some old lady for taking an 8 year old and a 10 year old along the sidewalk of a tiny, busy, cars-parked-on-both-sides road. fuck off. do you want an injured 8 yo or 10 yo? No. I didn't think so.
And yet, if you're cycling too slow (have a big hill, on a narrow two-lane road, again on my way to get the boys) people want you off the road!

The Space Mini alludes to the Foxtons philosophy of taking an energetic and progressive approach to the market, through concepts such as café-style offices.
your own or someone at Foxtons'?

Hey, does anyone have a spare Kryptonite lock that guapo and I can borrow for one night (guess it's two, technically)? We're going to see Crystal Stilts in Picadilly Circus on Friday night and want to ride there but don't trust my crap lock and his Fuhgedaboutit lock is too short to put through two frames. I'd rather watch the show in peace than have him fidgeting about all night. ;) And, of course, if it's so spare that you don't actually use it that often, I'll offer to buy it off you. I'm looking for a NY Lock (that's the one 1 step down from Fuhg...)
Thanks!

You can walk the bike to Bethnel Green overground station and go to Liverpool Street, where you can pick up the circle line round to Monument or Embankment and just pootle over the river. Minimum of cycling, if that's what you want.
Can't take Circle line any time, whether peak hours or not. It's one-a those underground lines.
Crap, can't find the link for the one I'm looking for but I just asked about it, so do a search for TfL bicycle tube map or something.

i say experiment with an old brooks saddle. take off the top layer with something like a scraper of some kind then make sure that the leather is totally smooth. then apply shoe whitener allow it to soak in and then apply another coat, keep doing this so that the colour builds up..............
i just changed my mind as i think it might look terrible and not anything like the limited edition version.
sorry for wasting your time
especially since if you can't seal it then you'll get white on the ass of every pants you ride with!!
...shit. TROUSERS!

thanks for that, it's good to know in the events I sometimes feel it necessary to use the sidewalk. in those cases I always go very slowly and yield to pedestrians.
