Wanted to share this little happy face 😍 (cat courtesy of @Aroogah & @longandwinding)

Haha yeah, salt. You can use regular dates, but it gets sticky getting all the pits out 😅 I've also used apricots in this recipe, as mango can get spendy 💵
@dangeek, that ultimate trail mix sounds great 👌

Went to the coffee fest yesterday, enjoyed it more than last year, wasn't as insanely hot and not quite as crowded. (I was on an industry freebie though, I still refuse to pay for a trade day!) Realised the same thing I realise every year, that I'm really not interested in 90% of the stuff there. Always go, as there are heaps of people I want to see and chat to, but wasn't really wowed by anything.
Got a sweet party bag from Square Mile, drank a very very tasty beverage from Coffee Collective, drank some tasty stuff from Minor Figures, heckled some peeps & picked up a bunch of pin badges and stickers.
Fav spot of the day was the Hasbean pop-up though, and you don't need a festival ticket for it as it's on Commercial Street. If you're in the area, check it out for sure. Look for the red balloon! It's just outside the church? Also, Brooklyn Coffee had some banging Tanzanian espresso.

I've been vegan for about two years now, and I'd say I feel like I get sick less often than before. I generally feel much better overall, although I think this is more likely down to a decrease in the amount of processed foods I eat, rather than specifically vegan.
As others have said, if you're worried maybe keep a closer eye on what you're eating for a bit, to make sure you're getting a decent amount of nutrients.
It seems like there have been some pretty brutal flus/sickness/viral shit going around this season though, pretty much everyone seems to have caught something, so maybe it's just a thing.

Also, seems like they had already made their mind up before they even started. Not going to give it a fair go with that attitude!
I've been talking to a bunch of people about being vegan recently, and the question that drives me bonkers is always "But, what do you eat for dinner?!" I mean, it's a difficult one to answer, as the possibilities are endless. I just want to ask, "well, what do you eat??" I didn't feel like it was a difficult transition for me, as I already did a lot of cooking & baking, so I guess the odd substitution becomes easier.

Was gonna recommend this: https://www.coffeehit.co.uk/rhino-coffee-waste-tube-red.html
But it's pretty much the same as the cafelat one. I've used them before and they're pretty good and sturdy, easy to clean. I feel like anything that survives multiple barista camps is gonna be fine for home use 😆
