Also, I'd recommend looking at front of house positions too, a lot of places will train people up from there. (Although it's always good to mention you're super keen to train and move into barista roles in the future, in case that's not what a particular shop is looking for! Always best to be on the same page.) It's also a really good way to learn how cafes work from the other side of the bar!

Fieldwork does some delicious porridge (with ice cream!😍) and coffee. The Auld Hoose does loads of great vegan pub food. The nachos are killer, but believe them when they tell you to share 😁 Paradise Palms is a fun bar with cocktails and vegan/veggie menu. I know there were loads of other places, but I'm drawing a total blank at the mo!

Someone already mentioned, but you can defo buy the replacement parts. I suppose it would still add up if you are replacing them fairly regularly?

From experience they are pretty uncomfortable to use. We had a Chris King one and it was pretty heavy and didn't fit in my palm very comfortably. Although I guess if you're not making 150 coffees a day with it. it probs wouldn't be as much of a problem 😂 they do look pretty cool. (and was always a good way to spot cycling customers!)

Full Court Press, in Bristol. Looks like he runs some courses (https://www.fcp.coffee/) but I'm not sure about SCA specifically.
