I was hoping to be regaled with the previous night's exploitsMe too.
An unrelated story to bring a little much needed levity:
I found myself drinking with colleagues in the red light district of a major port town in Europe. Towards the end of the night, with a considerable amount consumed, my remaining colleague chose to relieve himself (no 2s) in the road. As if by magic, a local law enforcer appeared out of the ether at the time of deposit. I foresaw a fucking good truncheoning, instead the law-monger asked in near perfect english (by my shitty standards) "Is that yours?", to which my oppo answered in the affirmative. My esteemed colleague was then instructed to place his egesta in the pocket of his jeans and leave the scene. He complied (to my relief) in fear of his life.
More walk of shame than ride of shame, but close enough hopefully.

Does anyone know of any decent alternatives to merino wool? Most wool irritates my skin a bit, and sadly merino wool does as well.
This will make me sound like a twat but have you tried good quality merino? Devold are good (as previously mentioned by SF). Repeated washing in ecover (or suchlike) will soften them up and remove protective dressings which may irritate. Other than that it'll be cashmere, which I've heard Rapha are working on (probably).

Ok, I'm well up for doing this, but I'm not up for a fast sprint to brighton. As I understand it, the cars go along at around 15mph. Anyone want to join me on a sedate cruise down there?
My knee is fucked and I'll be on 68". Be happy to keep you company. I also suffer from a medical condition that means I need to consume yeast and hops on a bi-hourly basis. Sound ok?

Yep, tried this but get the following:
GMapToGPX v6.4b (ERROR)
There doesn't seem to be any extractable data on this page.
If there is, but it's not detected, please visit the project homepage and leave a bug report, including a link to the page you're on right now.
Note: Google Maps mashups (that is, a page with a Google Map on it, but not at google.com) do not automatically work with this utility. If you would like to see GMapToGPX work with your Google Maps mashup site, please leave a comment on the project page. There's also a post or two on the net of peeps having the same problem, no follow up.
I'll probably just input a duplicate into google and try exporting that....
Cheers for the help!
**Just tried it again and it worked! Nice one.

Done the searching, got a few very techy answers that involved code and stuff!
Does anyone know of a way of importing a gmap into a GPS? In this case it's a Garmin Dakota 20.
Alternately, can a gmap be transferred to google maps? (I'm aware gmaps is a 'mash' that uses google) Then I think I'd be able to send it directly.
Cheers,
Bob.

Chris from Swrve UK. Let me swing past his office in Brixton to try on some 'kernickers', made me a cup of tea and shot the shit for half an hour. Also went back to his office when I rang him to google up the Lamb, which as I'm sure you lot knew is not on fucking Conduit Street but Lamb Conduit Street.
Nice guy, great gear.
