bbq doesn't start until 2pm, so depending on the route, pace of the ride, and how long people wanted to kick a ball about for, it wouldn't be hideously difficult to merge the two things, and the bbq should be going all night long so there should be no worries about rolling up later...
exactly... sounds like a plan and I can make the 19th
50 miles, say 4 hours riding time (at least 2 dicking around) start at 10 and roll into the bbq once it's gotten going.. get smashed go home... top

^ I picked up one of those Mars Bar bikes from ebay the other day for a song.
I tell you I reckon is "wrong" with it. For starters those decals are pants and then geometry which is not really "pista".
Its fucking light for a steel frame though!
yeah it felt a little different on the way home..
Mars bar.... oh god

yep i kind of agree with you on that comment - i was looking at the white one today and thinking 'i like it but there is something wrongt with the design'....but still solid black and red style so ok but SOOOO far away from the Lavoro.
it's my winter hack so it's not a big deal I guess, might have to pimp the chain to take attention away from the details

Not if the cog is bigger than the chainring. You Fail.
I was trying to keep it simple. If you up a tooth on the front and on the back.. you will find it easier to pedal. If you want a higher/harder gear, simplest option is to fit a lower tooth count cog on the back. Job done.
It's also the cheaper option to change the rear sprocket
smaller the cog the more wear it takes as well
Miche do a clever little set up that makes changing your gearing very easy indeed
for example

could even go in the failure thread... but chuckleworthy either way

First Fluff, then clever pun in BC.
I have to admit it was the saucy-est hello I've given to a man in sometime...
I walked up to clever pun from behind and said "I belive I've seen your legs on the internet"
To his credit he didn't blush. It was a pretty good line that's for sure
I saw PinkMotty last night around 5 on Queen Elizabeth St near tower bridge

That'll be using ice to hide a mento.
That would be suggesting that someone would put ice in beer.
That would be me pointing out the inherent fail in the plan to transpose the humourous trick from Coke to beer.
And that would be reading the thread fail.
down to your shoddy quoting... but you're right ice in beer is an abomination
