The author's book is only for insomniacs, however.
But it has a Campagnola chain!

Now i'm normally not one to criticize other bag makers....but $550...i don't care how pretty the flap looks...that bag doesn't warrant that price tag!
No proper padding...polyprop webbing...c'mon!
Someone at work passed this site around (it's made using our site designer) and it looks like the prices have reduced somewhat in the past 3 years.

Mr Boris of Johnson heading Eastbound on the Owen St cycle path.
Told him (in a not-very-serious-way) that the cycle paths were rubbish and he should use the road and he said he agreed as well as some stuff about segregation and enough space for everyone to share the road. I wasn't really paying attention.
Told him that I thought Embankment was quite good though and he said that it wasn't good, but was better. "Well, it's fast at least" says I. "Oh, and get them councils in line" then I spied a green light and shot off across City Rd only to have a speedbump knock my sunglasses onto the ground.
Managed to get away before he caught me up though so I probably didn't look like a complete twat, just a semidrunken fool.

I saw two characters on hire bikes yesterday on the Lea Bridge Road, far away from any hire stations.
Oh, I dunno.
I saw a bunch of hipsters roll into London Fields on hire bikes, put them down and sit down for what looked like an extended drinking session/picnic. They had supermarket bags and everything.

Yesterday, a policeman on a horse waiting westbound at the red light on the bike path crossing Grays Inn Rd. Waited ages and then RLJ'd. Is that allowed on a horse? He didn't have his sirens on!
Also, this going down Oxford St a couple of minutes ago:
