Most of the drinks pubs are far from cheap, Wests and Norths are both quite expensive, South Easts and Souths aren't exactly bargain prices either. But to be able to have a huge garden to keep your bikes and relax with a bunch of awesome like-minded folk, surely that's worth an extra 20p a pint.
It's like insurance

Quidco (cashback site) just emailed me with a T-mobile offer.
http://www.quidco.com/t-mobile/
No idea what the handsets are like, and 24month contracts are pretty silly but the price isn't that bad...
Sony Ericsson Vivaz or Samsung Galaxy Apollo (24 month contract - £5.21 for the first 12 months, and £10.21 for the remaining 12) with unlimited texts (from a free flexible booster) and 500MB data plus £80 cashback.

Choice quotes from Wimbledon FM, the radio station they have (if you go, take a radio and headphones - a phone will do - it is very handy to keep up to speed with what's going on if you're wandering the grounds):
"Serena likes those balls. She could eat them up all day"
"something she's not used to doing - being double fisted from both sides"

Although there is this near Tower Bridge in July...

Felt a bit bad about leaving you to it so I pulled a U-turn but you must have been too fast for me to catch.
Went past Bethnal Green tube and decided that since I hadn't seen you lying in a tangled mess of bikes you'd got back alright, as the above proves.
T'were a good night. The last of the special lube has now been used up.

I'm not sure it's worthy of a post here, but here goes...
Didn't look like there were any particularly serious consequences, but saw a girl get knocked down by a private hire vehicle (who had a passenger at the time) on Gray's Inn Road this evening around 7pm.
I didn't see the events leading up to the knock, but saw her falling after hitting the driver's side front wing. It looked like she was crossing with a group of friends, one of them pushing a bike. The traffic signals were green for the car and red for pedestrians so the driver seemed a little peeved that they'd crossed right in front of him, but he did stop and it looked like he was getting ready to exchange details and make sure she was OK.
Plenty of folk were with her and by the time the lights changed for me she was on her feet again so I didn't stop.

Time for the lightest of light lunches.
Houmous (hummus?) on toast and some coffee from the new coffee machine.`
