So as I mentioned before, I've been building a bike for my friend who is 4'11''.
It was tricky but I finally found a Dawes Junior Racer on eBay.
1x8, 26'' wheels, 48cm Seat tube, fairly light and nice classic geometry.

After a powdercoat of metallic blue, new wheels, drive train and an awesome eBay find of a Concor 'Junior' Saddle for £10, it's ready to roll, and she is very happy with it.

Just fitted some Narrow (35mm) SKS Chromoplastic Mudguards to my Bareknuckle.
Took a little customizing of the front bracket, which meant drilling and filing the hole so it was longer, allowing the guard to sit closer to the fork crown.
Other than that, no problems at all.
Running 23c tires but not sure I could squeeze anything bigger under them.
They have a nice extra long flap on the front to help prevent wet feet and a rear reflector.

Sensible bike is sensible!
