I don't like to think about sequencing of this stuff now I just ask my plumber, as he's really good. Unfortunately in Edinburgh.
Plumber should be able to get the pipe tails to come out of the floor in the right location as long as they know the spec of the rad. Then the redecorating can be done at leisure and the rad installed last.
A tip I got from another trade guy is do the floor sanding etc last so that you can make good any accidental damage that may occur during the other works.

Can relate. Recently the other half's friend visited, with their young child, who discovered the fun bleep bloop noises our new washing machine makes. It's a Samsung, and it's painfully close to actually being half washing machine, half toddler toy. Kid was having a whale of a time to be fair. Less fun for me, trying to work in the same room :/

Urgh, doors. The main door to my (circa 1880) block of flats is catching on a high spot on the floor.
I've tried shimming behind the lower hinge. It helped a bit, but it's still catching on the floor a bit, and now it's catching on the door frame (as the door has rotated due to the shims). I've also stripped one of the old screws and failed to drill it out. Still 3 of 4 screws holding that hinge in place, but nevertheless annoying.
I tried planing the side of the door which again has helped a but but not fully solved the issue.
Really I need to somehow move all three hinges up by about 2-3mm.
Anyone got tips on how to achieve this? I'm sure there must be A Way To Do It. I'm fearful of making the situation worse at this point. It's a big old heavy solid wood door and the hinges are screwed into timber framing behind.

How would you heat the room if no towel rail? Low level rads? (Bear in mind the towel rail is existing).
Yeah moving the soil pipe is a pain! There's no real way to do so other than run it under the floor, hence the step to the shower. Presumably as high as needed @aggi

You might be reading square metres as square feet? That house is 6 times bigger than my flat.
