Yeah, there's always a hundred changes you can make to any bike. Agreed, the bars would blatantly look better on a lo-pro, but they give me the hand positions I want so meh... It's really hard to get hold of the Moser seat posts - I tried (worldwide) and gave up. The only thing it came with was a Dura Ace headset, which I can only assume wasn't original either so there's nothing purist about it, but it's not a museum piece, it's something to enjoy riding
Then there isn't a problem. Aesthetics be damned.

ta.
it looks like it'll fit the rear of my bike, and i wants to go touring.I think it just gives more clearance than this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=32817
Either way, it was pretty solid. I wouldn't recommend carrying that much weight though, if you're riding fixed and on hills- it wasn't a smart idea, though manageable for a few days.

whats the rear rack?
I'm not sure, it's something I borrowed off a friend. He mentioned it being for MTB use, and something about attaching to disc mounts, but that can't be right as it makes no sense. I'll go check.
(It's a Topeak Super Tourist DX Disc- one of these: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?PartnerID=79&ModelID=32816
Nice and solid, no complaints).

The Quinn is lovely!
This is my Kingston carrying some extra weight in its touring setup. I haven't decided what to do with it next (obviously I'm not riding it like this every day) but it might get gears- though I would probably spring the stays to 130mm to take a modern wheelset, so it would be a one-way trip so to speak.
Edit 2: What is up with the photo; it keeps disappearing...

Thanks, that's what I thought. There seems to be a lack of information on this machine out there, but I'll keep going.

I have a portafilter question. (Please forgive/correct any misuse of the terminology as I am relatively new to making espresso at home). I have a DeLonghi Icona espresso machine with a pressurised portafilter. Is it possible to get a replacement basket for this machine so it's not pressurised? If so, how do I know what the important dimensions are?
Thanks.

I've run a tange headset (i believe it's the passage but I'm not 100% sure) for 16 months. only greased it once and it is still fine, without any noticeable problems. Honestly, I would recommend fitting something that actually fits, i.e. the Tange, rather than milling the headtube to fit the Campag. If it fits, it turns and it doesn't involve frame mutilation, and it costs £13, then the decision seems a no-brainer to me.

why are 6 music telling me every half hour about jeff beck's new album? i don't give a fuck about jeff beck or his new album. no-one gives a fuck about jeff beck do they? from the litle i know about him it's quite obvious that jeff beck doesn't give a fuck about jeff beck. stop telling me about jeff beck!
A friend and I, in San Francisco, were approached by a random guy. "Oh my god... you're Jeff Beck!" he said. My friend: "Yes, yes I am". The guy proceeds to get a mobile phone and start calling someone, saying to my friend "hey, Jeff, talk to my sister. oh my god, you're jeff beck..." etc. We had to make a swift getaway.

Unlucky... I can never understand everyone's problem with the Miche BB though. Mine is in, not worn, not damaged from installation, never unscrewed itself, been running for almost 2 years on 2 different bikes, still nice and smooth. I would buy another. I wouldn't say I was an expert on BB installation, either... Anyhow, not a dig at you, just a headscratcher for me.
