My android phone charges with USB-C and the charging port just stopped working.
It's going back to the manufacturer for warranty repair. Sadly I couldn't complete a backup before the battery ran out so I'm going to lose some data.
Any suggestions as to how to get some charge to it? Presumably if there's a broken connection of the charger to the internal circuit board (which is what I suspect) then I'm out of options.

Or the demo genesis bikes get sold through Freewheel.

I do cutting of small bits of timber in my flat by clamping the workpiece onto a couple of small ikea wooden stools, then cutting with a handsaw (flexible second fix saw, or fine toothed back saw if I'm trying really hard). Mark up two orthogonal faces with the cut line, create a cut guide on one of them by dragging the saw backwards, then flip 90° and cut on the other marked face. Seems to be adequate for general cutting, although I'm obviously not making fine furniture or cabinets. @ChainBreaker

I only got to about 10 or 11 bikes at my peak. To be fair the fact I can't remember how many it was speaks to the confusion and frustration of owning so many.
At some point you must have told me the same story as @amey recalls, because it rings a bell. After what I guess is about 7 or 8 years I'm almost there! 5 bikes, one more waiting on paint, and they almost all work.
I'd like to see the 6pt garage tour :)

Sounds like a total shitshow on their part.
There might be other ways to deal with it but I would be explaining how much they will be returning such that I can consider the matter closed i.e. not challenge it in the small claims court and not write an honest review on Google/ trusted reviews etc. I did this when a flooring fitter did a bad job and they refunded me an amount that made it easier to move on.

This is what I want to put a go pro-type bracket on the bottom of a garmin out front mount (the type supplied with the 830) right?

Yeah the different steels are basically the same stiffness as a bulk material, but posh steel has higher yield strength and higher hardness, which means it can be formed into bigger diameter, thinner walled sections, which are stiffer than smaller diameter sections of the same wall thickness, while mitigating the risks of tube buckling and denting.
I think the chat about bulk material properties for steel Vs aluminium alloy Vs titanium Vs carbon etc is not very informative.
Seems familiar... I just paid a bill for new rear suspension and a few other bits that was ~50% of my car's value.
Sounds worse than it is when the car is cheap. Chucking it and buying another one of the same is just like starting the whole defect lottery from square one.
