My younger sister and her boyfriend just moved to London from Spain and are looking for a room in a flatshare. They both just finished their MA in photography/design and wil be studying/working for at least 6 months.

They're looking to pay £600 or less, although they could do more if it was reaaally nice I guess. They're not particularly into bikes yet, but I'm working on that ;)

They're pretty sociable, tidy (I would know as they're staying in my living room right now) and she's a really good cook.

Oh and it has to be smoker friendly.

I think that's about it. Hit me up if you have something, they're really keen to find a place asap.

It's ok, I got some Gran Compe hubs on polished rigida dp18's in the end.

Guessing the brake wouldn't work as well as it should and the rim would start to look a mess as the colour comes off?

Hey Allister. My problem with them is that I do run a front brake, which would be a problem right? I mean, I don't use it all the time, but what's the damage of running a brake on those?

For GBP 100 they are good value with out any real down side except they are not so good if you are going to run a brake on them .

We have some for our kids track bikes and they seem to hold up to a bit of abuse once they have been bedded in and the spokes tightened after 6 or 7 outings.

If I was spending my own money for a fixed wheel road bike they would be near the top of the list .

I'm 6ft and just bought a 55cm track frame.
I think 57 would be fine for you if it was a road bike, but bearing in mind the height of the bb a 55cm track has a standover height pretty much equivalent to a 57cm road frame.
Organicorigin has a beautiful Condor in that size.
