I think the kickstarter approach is much more viable in a case where the products are much less time consuming to make or the actual manufacture is outsourced to existing capable factories..
That way it's just a matter of waiting for enough money to start the production. In the BRP case you would be able to factor in establishing costs in the first batch, but they would be more expensive than the next batches. And Scott would still need a lot of time to establish the workshop before even getting to sew the early birds bundles.

And @Dammit
Thanks both.Today I’m free of pain after the long drive on saturday.
And I will have to do the same drive this coming saturday too so I’ll try your suggestions. Is there anything to the height of the seat or wheel? If I can actually adjust either in my car.

I have a crack in the windscreen. I's been there for some time doing nothing, but suddenly driving through a snowstorm it grew by about 15-20 cm. It's running along the bottom edge still well out of main field of view.
I'm in the netherlands for the next 3 months. it cost 700 euro to change here or 476, when I'm back in denmark.
How do I determine whether I can wait or if I should change it now?

I've got a couple of warped (concave) records.
Until I get around to attempt straightening I thought a record weight might improve matters.Something with a lip along the periphery of the label would push the raised part of the record down towards the platter, I would think.
Anyone got suggestions? I prefer cheap and/or DIY.
