It is extremely fun set up as above (minus a few spacers) but most of the time the bars are the other way round and there's a child seat behind the stem. thats very fun too in an other way.
I've found that cane creek v-levers and bb7 mtb work quite good together. actually that is the set up that made me want to build a drop bar specific fast disc brake bike.
I considered that civilian, but couldn't be bothered. I ended up getting a pompetamine to get the build started. fwiw I like the geometry of the pomp more - except the slope.
they do make some small gobbins you put in the forkends to make the axle sit at bit further out. a bit of a bodge, but it'll give you the clearance.
just file the underside of the crown.
haha, I feel like I'm overcomplicating things, but I think I might just get it right from the beginning.
my track bike fit me fine at 56x56, but this one is going to be set up for riding in the hoods mainly.
