This would have the lock hanging on your front then? Any ideas on something for slightly longer D-locks:

At the mo i'm hooking it around the end of strap where it attaches to bag, then securing the other end through a loop of webbing attached to corner toggle thing.. but it swings into my knee when i'm low on the drops, need something to secure it to my belt, or back of bag. It's on one of these:

Nope, based in Nottingham but girlfriend in Leeds. Normally bring my bike up for weekends, makes the 7am train easier to catch.

See you there. What did you think of Human Hair? My housemates other band (main band are Lovvers)

I like this bike a lot tobyprice! Chrome ends?
If you're at home this coming weekend, fancy riding with the Suffolk CTC geeks fixed with me? Ends quite near you (stonham barns near stowmarket) , starts in
Ipswich though, 9.30 sunday am.Thanks Skully, no chrome i'm afraid. It's going to get an overhaul soon paintwise.
Unfortunatly i'm up in Leeds this weekend (I recommend Sunday night gig at Brudenell social Club for those up north), can't tell you how much I enjoyed a day in the country on the Carlton. Beats innercity riding!
I popped into madgets, they're suprisingly track orientated, some nice merican/bob jackson track frames.
Enjoy your JRJ, looks lovely.

Finished this on sunday. JRJ Path frame with Chater Lea, Airlite, Bayliss Wiley, Renolds & GB Ye Olde English bits. Wolber & jalco (stripped) rims, Belleri bars, Salmon muddies.
Wish Dave Crowe hadn't bothered putting the headtube crest on like I asked him not to, as it doesn't fit between the massive lugs.
Still, I love it.
All courtesy of Furious Tiles for the frame, Dave Crowe (colourtech) for great work (transfer notwithstanding), and to Dale, The Bonk, Keith Wileman in Emsworth (a CTC forum guy) & Madgett's in Diss for essential bits, and Keith at TdV for some help.
No Dale, it's not a fucking dawes.
Madgett's in Diss??!! I live just outside Diss, or rather my folks do. I'll be returning with my Carlton this weekend, will be out and about the Norfolk lanes.

I had open pro's on my carlton (http://www.photosinthedark.com/Personal/Carlton/)
Also used Ofmega cranks if you see any of those around, I look forward to seeing your build!
This is just what I needed to spur me on with my carlton conversion. I've got open pros coming my way to, glad they look good! Also like the crankset, may have to aquire some, been wondering what would look good!

GOT ONE FROM WIGGLE
The rubbish separate clamp style one has, indirectly, ripped two pairs of trousers over Christmas, due to the clamp bolts being wider than the saddle. What a fool I was.
So if anyone has a cheap integrated clamp seatpost d=26mm, for delivery to Nottingham, i'd be grateful, to the tune of £10 or so.
Thanks.

I've a silver stem at home, I'll need to get the clinchers on it too, as it'll be on the road.
Some Maillard hubs with Wilber super champion tubs will be on sale soon.
