Last summer my barry chick got nicked from oxford, and on someone's recommendation I joined the forum and posted it the stolen bikes thread. Nothing came of it and I lost hope. However, when george asked for info on his barry chick frame and I enquired, he was deeply honourable and helped me identify his frame as the one that got stolen from me last year. It had been resprayed in the mean time and had some Bianci decals attached. Unfortunately all the super record and cinelli stuff has gone, but he's offered to return the frame

So basically just a story to give hope to anyone who's lost their bike and to give massive credit to george for being such an honest bloke.

Wanted:

A short reach (40mm or less minimum) brake caliper in which the centre bolt can be replaced (so that it can fit an old style nutted 6mm mounting)

Or even better, a nutted short-reach front brake

i was thinking about that, it sounds a little unsafe due the turing forces on the bolt (as it's only mounted at one point), but i might give it a shot

Does anyone know if these exist? Basically my forks are drilled for a traditional nutted 6mm brake, but the reach needs to be little (about 40mm). I can't really drill the back hole on the fork to 8mm to fit an allen key recessed bolt as there isn't enough meat on the fork and the bottom headset race is really low...

I can post it, but i just looked at it again and it's got a separate seat post clamp (for use with a 'pipe' type seatpin)

Does anyone have or know where I can get a lockring for an italian threaded hub (OMAS)?

Looking for silver bullhorns, don't care if they're chopped drops or new whatever width.

Also an old saddle, preferably in a lighter shade but I don't mind if it's black. Something like a Rolls, Concor or Turbo would be ideal.

I just unexpectedly bought a jim docherty frame off ebay, left the last bid at 4 in the morning and really wasn't expecting to win. Probably paid quite a lot considering, does anyone know anything about this framebuilder?
