Hi,
I have tried a search, but to no avail. About a year ago there was a bloke in London selling frames and/or poss selling complete polo bikes. Does anyone have any details, i am helping out in a LBS just outside Glasgow and a customer is looking to buy a bike of if necessary just a frame. Any help much appreciated.

seen one bloke in kelvingrove park glasgow on a lovely looking bike, very similar looking to the one made by fixie inc, but it was a single speed with no brakes i kid you not. he did look like jo kool right up until the time he had to brake, sorry slow down by dragging his feet on the floor....v strange.

TVM Hippy, no i searched on puncture free. i run the marathons on my touring bike and gator skins on my fixed. i did also try green tyres as they are the firm that make green tyres which can also be green if you wish. i was looking at them for my tricross single which seems bomb proof and go anywhere, a bit like a land rover and just thought that for tow path use, where the ride isn't as critical, they may be ok.
rab, you cheeky fellow. i can be a lazy arse, but not in this case, just looking for a robust ride.
all, TVM.

[quote=vinylvillain;279834]The first thing you do on a Harley or Buell when modifying it is bin the belt drive for a chain. You loose too much power in the drive train, and it stretches easily so requires constant adjustment for optimum performance, although they will work well enough even if slack. Their have been numerous Buell recalls due to belt drive issues.
errr no not really, most do filter, carb, pipes, ignition etc, i have a 1600 S&S engined bike and it still runs a belt, not heard of any needing contant adjustment.

could you commit an offence, say sppeding, but get off it if you explained that you are rich and famous and were in a hurry to get to the royal bogs to loiter with your trousers round your ankles whilst taking copious amounts of drugs. you could edge your bets even further if said 'trousers' were part of a nazi uniform.
worth a try? -
