And so the unstoppable wave that is redevelopment of industrial buildings continues.
The latest casualty is the building my workshop is in.
I haven't been able to find a new space quick enough so I'd like my furniture to go to a new home rather than end up as landfill.
My profound loss, your gainEverything is in Bond House, Goodwood Road, new cross gate, se14 6BL
Workbench - gone
Next is a set of wooden shelves with canvas drawers.
Ikea I believe.Then it's a large extendable table.
It's great for large scale flat work (I use it for marking sheet metal, and preparing my stuff for shipping etc)
I have the middle section that fills the void, but not sure if it needs extra bolts (never extended it as was big enough).
It's proper wood, not chipboard. So could be cleaned up for domestic rather than work use.Height - 75cm
Width - 155cm (unextended)
Depth - 102cmThe legs will come off for transport.
The metal shelves on it are also up for grabs.Lastly a more eccentric item.
This is a bottled drinks shelving unit.
Made from mild steel it's great just to chuck tools on.
I was debating using it as a stand up welding bench as well, but never got a tig machine sorted and won't have the space for a long time so...I'd like these items collected before the 22nd March.
I'll be here a great deal trying to finish orders before the end.
There is parking right by the building.I've got a few other bits to give away and sell including some good quality ply wood (free) and some screen printing screens (price tbc)
Give me a shout if you'd like a look.Cheers

My bouldering days are well and truly over due to tearing knee cartilage the other year.
These mats have been in my workshop as sound insulation, but the lease has been terminated so I'd like to find a good home for them.
Moon mat, 160 x 110. 85x110 folded.
This mat fits into a lightweight sleeve.Black diamond mat, 125 x 115. 70x115 folded.
This is a slightly firmer foam.
The tabs to fasten the mat closed have worn and been replaced in one case. Both mats show signs of use, but are fully functioning.
Viewings at my workshop in New Cross gate.
(I'm away from 3rd March until 10th March)
£45 each or £80 the pair.
Give me a shout for more details, photos etc etc

As a very recently un-lapsed member of lfgss I thought I'd introduce myself and my craft - silversmithing.
I'm Thomas and I make parts for the double reed family of musical instruments. Specifically metal work for ergonomics of the instruments (new keys etc) and the crooks (for those not dialled in these are the first tubular section of the instrument and have a large impact on the sound).
My focus is on the Bassoon family and I specialise in using sterling silver and more esoteric plating on brass - the three contrabassoon crooks in the photo are all brass alloys, (L-R) plated with black nickel, red gold and unplated yellow brass.
My studio/workshop is in New Cross Gate.

Hi Howard, yes hollotech2 pinch bolt.
The crank has been in place for 5 years or so :D I only realised that the BB had had it when I washed my bike the other day and the loosened the road grime that had kept it aligned.
This is my do everything bike - tens of thousands of miles commuting and off road etc etc.
I think you're right - The bolt must be corroded in place and wedged with flith.Tried heat, imperial Allan key (just rounded the metal more), torx head hammered in place (just rounded more) and araldite imperial Allan key.
Managed a little turn then the glue cracked. -
Bump on this as I have rounded out one of the pinch bolts in a shimano chainset.
I have tried all techniques here and goodness knows what alloy the bolt is as it just rounded more and more.
The araldite trick nearly worked, but not enough.
Today in a last ditch attempt before cutting the bolt and therefore ruining the crank I will be bonding a larger allan key filed to fit the hole in place with milliput - an epoxy resin.
I'm hoping the stiff nature of the putty will take the rotation force better than the araldite.
I'll report in the next few days
Bench now gone.
All the rest ready to go
