Just got a set of 2nd hand wheels (open pro on miche primanto hubs).Hubs run pretty smooth but the rear makes a massive grinding noise when I start to put any hard pressure on e.g. starting off and sprinting.
Before I go out and buy some new bearings do you think it could be anything else??
Also what bearings am I best replacing the current ones with if thats what i am looking at?

i'd take a guess at 20quid cant see it being much more than that. obviously if its less then i'll do it for less

Just got sent a lovely little present from the dutch highway authority turns out i now owe them a few hundred euro so need to sell a few things so here is the first thing to go. i am flying back to the uk tomorrow so if you want the frame you can pay a deposit tonight for the sleezyjet fee for taking a bike on board and i'll bring it over, or it can be sent next week from holland. i can meet in westminster on saturday morning with the frame.

This is my Koga Miyata frame project that has been in waiting but never took off. Frame is made from tange chrome molybdenum steel double butted.
size is 50cm.
apparently this was the top of the line frame back in its day (feel free to correct me there) and was the first of their frames to have a open bottom bracket.
comes with the Tange headset and shimano bottom bracket.
very easy for a SS/fixed conversion with the long drop outs, decals and paint is in good condition a few minor chips and scratches with no dents on the frame or fork.

looks like the tube is bent on the other side looking at it closer, probably not worth the risk of a face plant when the frame gives way underneath me........

so the guy with the RIH frame didnt want to talk at all so that one has gone by the by. looking at this gazelle road frame, but once again another dent.......
