700c wouldn't fit. Crown to axle length is 315mm (about) so a 650 might fit - dont quote me coz i dunno how big a 650 is with a tyre etc, but i just put a 700c wheel in it with a 25c tyre on and it was about 2cm off going in. steerer length is 173mm. Brakeless obviously too + 1 1/8"

so yea, it might work on a 650c bomx proof trick bike.

Cane Creek IS-8 integrated headset. Carbon top cap + interlocking spacers. Laser etched Alloy top cap. I fitted this and realised I need a 45/45 bmx style bearing. I.E. fitted but never ridden. This is the I.S. standard 45/36 degree bearings. The crown race got nackered BUT I HAVE A NEW ONE TO GO WITH IT - NOT PICTURED. I paid 59.99, will sell for £30 (£35 with crown race).

I don't know much about those particular hubs, but ceramic bearings are way stronger/smoother/durable than steel ones. There rolling resistance is way better. Basically they should last longer and be faster. But that all depends if they've been made well i suppose.

cheers, looks a bit odd over the fillet braze tho that. so it would probably do similar to what i'm after.

So do you just pick an RAL colour and say you want it trans rather than solid - or is it a different pallette to choose from?

Can armourtex do a translucent powder coat, I've only seen solid colour. Want my black sword to be like this one...

Whats forks / stems are you guys running on your swords?

I've got carbon forks and 90mm stem but wanna see how it feels with a bmx stem and straight forks.

If you are a using bmx stem what bars did you find to fit?

I did something similar when i built my first fix. my advice would be to buy a fuji track, the ride quality will be so much better than anything you can do with that.

Chelsea is a good meeting spot, loads of space. CSM at Southampton row has massive building work going on in front of it and theres no space at Charing Cross. LCF is on Oxford Street = no no.

I went to argos in peckham and got a D40 with a 4gb sandisk card for £250. Just waiting for the battery to charge now!
