no worries, yea I think its the Addie. cheers
edit - yea i found a pics, defo an Addie. In your revision of the bags, would it be possible to have compression straps with buckles, so you could use them to attach larger items to the outside, or some kind of similar system? With a messenger bag i love how you can just use the flap to strap big things down (frames, big pieces of wood etc), but find a backpack way more comfortable. That is a major disadvantage of the ortleib!

@Scott - sounds good to me. I'll keep checking! Thanks
@ Object - I said I wanted a backpack, Thanks anyway -
Hey Scott, whats the situation with the bigger bags? I've just re read a load of this thread but can't find much info on the bigger bags. I put myself on the list and PM'd you on the 24th May 2009,but I've been using an ortleib messenger pro for about 6 months and although super comfy it really annoys me that it has no compression straps or pockets and is so bloody wide at the top! So i'd like to go with the backpack rather than messenger style, something about the same size, 'the transformer' ? or is it still a prototype? Either way, I can pay up front now. Any chance of getting something soonish? Shall i cut and paste the bags list again?
Cheers! -

Eh? It's not a terrible idea, it's required in Florida to have it attached to your car insurance and it means that when you are hit by an uninsured motorist you aren't screwed! I thought about the pedestrians thing, too. I dunno, it doesn't seem like a bad idea, but it would have to be easy to get and not expensive. But what would the benefits be to people in the UK? Don't know, as you can sue motorists and you can get any injuries sorted out on the NHS. I guess maybe for instances like Dammit where he has tooth damage but the NHS won't pay for it. However, I dont remember the specifics of his injuries (whose fault it was).
for real?

Im wanting to do start doing a couple of short runs a week, mornings, round brockwell park. Just to get a bit more fitness/drop some pounds really. I've got a pair of saucany (Triax's?) which i did a bit of running in a couple years ago and they seemed comfy enough then. As im literally starting from scratch, i'm gonna start off 5-10mins walking, then build into a jog , mainly run on grass i think and then have a good stretch off back at the house. I don't have the best knees in the world, currently weigh 14.5 stone and im 6ft, im a bit overweight, but i have big thigh muscles etc! I was wondering about this whole barefoot thing (dont wanna go literally barefoot round brixton - dont know what you might step on!). If im starting off slow and steady, would it do my knees etc a bit better to use a conventional running shoe, or i liked the idea of the super flexy Nike Free 3.0?
Thoughts please!? -
