Good call on the 5 NH. Looks tidyier than the other one and a nice spec too. Just needs fatter wheels and hitting with the lowering stick!

My dad was thinking of getting a 302 Windsor crate motor from the states for his new project but by the time he psyched himself up for it, the pound wasn't as strong against the dollar and he talked himself out of it. Would have been worth it for the sound alone! :-(

Am thinking of putting a deposit down on a new A-class merc I need a reason as to why this is a bad idea (apart from waiting list).

Reason 1: It's an A-Class. Nothing bad about them but nothing particularly good either. (i've only driven the previous incarnation but it was fairly uninspiring.
Reason 2: Why buy new and watch it instantly depreiciate?
Reason 3: It looks like they took a normal hatchback and stuck the same nose off a c-class or another big merc saloon and stuck it on.

Sounds awesome. It's something I've never watched live though I've always enjoyed watching footage of the Time Attack series in Japan and America. I love a bit of homebrew engineering and a wide variety of cars so it sounds ideal! Brands sounds like it will be class!
