My VR6 has just failed MOT on a LOT - getting a price now but doubt it's gonna be cheap - welding and new back box and power steering pipe(s) and a new tyre, plus some.
It's been sat for last 6 months whilst I was on a speeding ban, now it's corrosion payback time. Thing is it drives blooming lovely but it's 14 years old now and every year needs work - do I let me heart keep on ruling my head, or let go this time? I don't even need a car just now.......
Golf or 'Rado? Either way, nice ones are hard to find and if you're attached to it, you'll regret it if you don't give it the love.

Will I be ostracized if I turn up sans cakes? Also, Is it a liberty if I request that somebody turn up with a tiny allen key that I can use to change my cartridge brake pads. I know I'm asking a lot as a first timer to North's but think of the impression you'll set on a newbie...

The cobra is gorgeous. Would love a replica in the future. Would have to be a 289 bodied one. Much prefer them over 427's.

He managed to talk his way out of a ban after getting pulled at 120 at 23:30 on the A127. I wasn't so lucky.
I'm making a wild guess from this that you were also some way above the limit on the Queen's Highway at the time...

I would be riding from WC1 at about 6 if anyone is going from that kind of area. Would be cool to ride with a few people up there.

Lynx's link: Incredible. Love the guys style. I would think that apart from a Landy or a Land Cruiser, a G-Wagon would be about the only other car for the job. Would love to see a full film of this.

hmmm. I wear a 34" waist jean. I'm guessing from the other jeans being a 32" waist that you may be a bit more svelte than me. Do they have much give in them ? Sorry to be a PITA but I've been thinking of getting a pair for while but never actually tried any on. Alternatively, how much bigger are the XL's?

I do love the idea of a heavy tuned, large capacity diesel. Aside from the monumental torque, I love the idea that it would chuck out a power stations-worth of both black & white smoke on demand.

Excellent. With time and money, I'd be so tempted to get a Archie Wilkinson setup and give it a go. The bikes look pretty comfortable to ride. Could you double one up as a nip-to-the-shops kind of bike too?
