i run a specialized mondo on the rear, and sometimes a roubaix armadillo elite if i have the cash. also neither of those have had punctures until skidded though. other people dont seem to have much luck with them tho

maxxis refuse? ive been running one on the front for about 2 years now and i have never ever had a puncture. really grippy too, which is great for the front but not so much on the rear if you're a fixie skidder

2 Bags for sale here, first is my Mash/Sag backpack. It has had light use carrying shopping and general stuff, so is in very good condition. Anyone who wants the bag will know all about it I'm sure so I won't bother describing it here. If you don't, visit http://prollyisnotprobably.com/2009/11/review_sag_x_mash_backpack.php. All I'll say is that it's a really good bag, deceptively big and very comfortable even when full or carrying wheels/frames with the outer straps.

Not sure on a price but as I can't find anywhere online that is selling one, not even the mash store where they used to be $220 plus postage plus import tax…

Second is a Blicks Bags Pica. Very small messenger bag, about big enough for a dslr, coat, wallet, phone etc… It was very well made and is still in perfect physical condition, it is slightly grubby around the corners and a few spots inside. I have tried to show this in the pics.

I mainly shoot digital, this is just a side project sort of thing.

The difference is just a little slide on the temp bar in Lightroom/Photoshop.

As you say yourself – the photo isn't very good. When you've got a picture you like... then you can try for improvements with the imaging.

I think my main problem is that the shop decided to photoshop the images to how they thought they should look. I'll take the next roll elsewhere.

ok should have worded it better. i was after 'which one do you prefer'

the one on the left was scanned by a shop. personally i don't like it at all, which is why i looked into other scanning options. the one on the right is one i did myself on a cheap slide scanner i borrowed off my dad, cost 50 quid.

the one on the right looks way closer to how the actual slide looks when held up to the light. i reckon the shop scanned them, then colour corrected them before running them through the sharpen filter 1000 times.

it was taken on an xa2, and the one i did myself is more what i was expecting to see from the camera, and i much prefer it to the shop scan

neither are photoshopped (to my knowledge) btw, just straight from the scanners
