My comment had nothing to do with the fact that you're a newbie, it had to do with the fact that you're asking for stuff in the plural and in very general terms, so it came across like you either had another agenda or hadn't done any research. Either way it's not a great basis for starting a thread.

Henry, if you're really building a bike (and not just trying to get cheap parts to sell on) then you need to do some research and work out exactly what you need.

If you buy a random mix of components it's highly unlikely that they'll all fit together..!
