was that free locked?
Nope, and locked to a street light so no chance of getting lifted off either. Must have been picked or cut. F knows, I can hardly believe it myself, still we're gonna go to the lane of Bricks on Sunday. I'd be amazed if it turns up there though. Surely someone with the ability to break that lock in that time will be pretty pro and so it'll be dismantled and sold on ebay.
It is pretty shit that there can be no lesson learned from the situation though, I mean really what could you do more safely? Two locks in that situation wouldn't have faired much better I suspect. And of course the lock always goes so you can't see how it was cracked.F'in' Cs

My mate just got his bike stolen from outside Fresh and Wild in Stoke Newington about half an hour ago. He just went in to buy a pizza, said he wasn't gone more that ten minutes. And he had a Kryptonite New York Chain on it!
Just in case it ends up on the Gumtree, it's a black/green singlespeed Ridley with Colnago forks and Belleri porteur bars. A month old Tour de Ville special no less. -

I've got a one week old 27.2 410mm Thomson post in silver currently on my bike but I'd like a bit more lay back. Does anyone have anything of similar quality that'll fit the bill. I only need it to be about 250mm but longer is fine. Doesn't have to be another thomson but it does have to be silver.
Cheers then.

Cinelli Popes were actually called Valencia

They're lovely and have somewhat come back into fashion so Cinelli decided to reissue them. Great.
Of course now they only come in black (for that retro look?) and with a OS 31.8 clamp. For F's sake.
Oh to complete the crazy trans generation look they also do a leather tape - £70!
Which, as you can see, even they weren't stupid enough to put on black bars. No, on the silver ones they don't do anymore. Great, thanks cinelli.

It did 'cos it's a hassle. And disappointing.
Nice of him to offer a refund though.
Indeed. It was a good deal, so I'll see if I can pass it on, if not it'll go back at the end of the week when I have another day off.
That rapping music is haunting. Beautiful. Thankyou. Why must he cry I wonder, perhaps some sort of bike related disappointment.

Sorry, I actually just remembered doing this when some 'do a skid'ed me on Kingsland Road a minute ago. I thought I'd come and check there hadn't been a serious mishap. If I hazily remember rightly it made an awful enough sound for me to immediately shout an apology. Well sorry again.
God though, cracking a chain link!
