So the photos above are the before photos.
Subsequently the frame has been away to have the following done by Andrew Armour in Edinburgh
- Custom front rack which mounts to the front brake bosses
- Fork Dropouts changed to SON SL connectorless ones
- Rear Rene Herse Dynamo light braze on added with internal frame routing via the headtube for fully internal wiring
- Pump Pegs added
- Repaint and replica frame decals applied
I've changed the following
- Modified a Lezyne pump with a spring so it works on the pump peg
- Changed Cranks to 46/30 SunXCD model
- New wheelset Pacenti Brevet with laser spokes. Rear hub is a Dura Ace 126 High Flange model and front is a SON SL delux
- Grand Bois Stem, Rene Herse Decaleur and Gilles Berthoud Bag
- Honjo smooth fenders
- Polished up all the other original components.
- Kuma rear backup battery light.
I still need to switch to the René Herse 28mm tyres. Sadly the 32mm ones wouldn’t fit due to the mounting location of the mudguards and the whee OD being too large. Same issue with 30mm Grand Bois Cypres.
I’m also considering the Grand Bois Centerpull brakes. - Custom front rack which mounts to the front brake bosses

For a rim brake there is two points on the wheel where forces are being transmitted between the fork and wheel. The rim (via brake) and the hub (via spokes).
This is why disc brake forks require stronger forks as all the braking forces are via the bottom of the fork and forces transmitted to the tyre via the spokes....
or at least this is how I understand it.

It was in 2018 when there was officially no race.

It was the year it was cancelled after Mike's Death, but a lot of folks still road the route.

Nominally any BRM 200 on 11 Sept will be a Centennial Ride and riders completing it are eligible for the medal.
Chris Crossland is the ACP rep and has put on the 200km ride from Halifax which has been named as so and will definitely have medals. The Edinburgh one is a bit more up in the air. Medals might be issued later.

Looking for some help selecting my next hubs for the LB rims I'm getting for my Isen Audax bike. The front will be a SONdelux dyanmo
28H Centerlock, shimano 11sp freehub.
My short list is:
For me I need the ability to convert the rear to 135 QR for the back of the Isen. Being able to replace DS spokes without a tool (i.e. able to take off the freehub).
Any thoughts / pros / cons?
