Look what I got for £30 at a local yard sale! 1976 Motobecane Grand tourer in amazing condition. It was covered in grease and dirt. A bit of scrubbing, new tires (Thanks andyp) and it came out really nice.
I haven't had a geared bike since I was a kid, so switching gears and braking on hoods is a completely foreign world to me. Still, great find the complete bike for £30 freakin pounds!

I won't be around for the 4th July.
but here's my twopence worth:
4 x 7 works. and brings more people in to play records that are their own "bright times".i like this. 12's and album cuts would be good too. I would like this a lot more.
i think 4 - 6 tracks (no extended 12 minute remixes), more people and if we run out of people then the possibility of more than one go at the tables for everyone involved.
i.e. you can play two sets of 4 records. depending on time available.I'm in total agreement with all of the above, although it should be either 4 tracks or 6 tracks not 4 to 6, just avoids any unhappiness which would be sad times :(

Who knows? Current options are
4th July - C&H with our own sound
4th July - Mango (they're World Cup free i think) if we ask them nicely, it'll be quieter WC time.
4th July - somewhere else - Ladywell Tavern maybe, combined with a bit of L*wn B*wls? Please suggest others
Another SundayIf we do a Sunday, do we want to get more and more people to play x4 7s, or longer times for everyone or a bit of both?
I like the x4 thing, as lots more people have played than we've had at BT before and that makes it betterer...
I'm totally cool with shorter sets, but might be nice if it was more like 6 records each and not just 7"s. I'll run out of records fast if we can only play 7's.

What has been seen cannot be unseen.
Aram did you used to be in Sepultura and/or Pantera? ;-)
I had just been stabbed in the arm with a screwdriver by my girlfriend and I went to the local Woolworths photo booth to document the day.
Nope, never a Sepultura or pantera guy, more of a dirty intense Smiths/Black Flag fan, What? It can happen.

So, are we going to be making an attempt to start the return to BT on sundays yes? Have we come any closer to a decision as to where? Is there anything that "I" or the collective "we" can do to help organize and get it together faster?
Thursdays at Mango Landing are great but it starts at 9pm and there isn't much time for everyone to play and we aren't the only ones as it's a neighborhoody thing too. I felt bad for that last guy who got to play one records before it got shut down.
