i just popped into a bike shop and looked at a set of those Schwalbe cut through samples they have, the Kojak looks super thin, i wouldn't want to run one on the rear, but i guess it depends how much you skids/what surface you play on....

Anyone got experience of riding Schwalbe Speed Cruiser tyres? 700x30?

Planet X have them cheap and was thinking of giving them a go instead of Marathon Plus

What about a Kona P2 fork? they come in 1" not sure if they're threaded but guess you could get the thread cut at a bike shop

Where can I get a fork made to my spec and does anyone know what sort of money I'd be looking at?

I'm happy to adjust axle crown length but I can't find any straight mtb forks with an 1" threaded steerer.

Oh yeah, it's pretty shit, but if you want simple collegiate style letters etc, then you get a better finish that spray stencil....

you can do your own (hand-cut) heat pres (iron on) transfer in any colour you like (as long as its white) with out needing a computer and printer.....

should be able to get some unbranded stuff from a craft type shop pretty cheap + scalpel = win

I've done it to removed a seized bb cup that the pin tool wouldn't get out...
