If someone wants to look into that cool... i looked at doing the same to get to berlin a while back and there were some good value train tickets if you booked online.... trouble was you had to have a german postal address to book them... that kinda stumped us.....

Has anyone done any serious investigation into getting there for less than £200...? cos' that's what it's looking like to fly & take a bike on a plane.... don't know if i'm up for that... could go to NY for not much more......

depends how your bike is set up at the moment....? 3/32nd chain? if so you'll nee a new chain and the chainring will probably be a bit noisy, i'm running a 3/32nd chainring with a 1/8th chain with no problems, except for a bit more noise....
Right, attempting to put polo gear on my bike, got a 18 freewheel from decathlon (itl have to do for now i guess) but its 1/8th, which my chain isnt. does this mean completly incompatible, or just undesirable?

LOOKING FOR: 1" AHEAD STEMS- AND/OR 1" AHEAD SPACERS 1" TO 1/8" AHEAD ADAPTERS?
I've got about 4/5 cms worth of plain silver alloy 1" spacers and a 1' - 1 1/8" adapter.. will try to bring if i come up.....

Hmm... Not sure if it's worth that plus the postage.... There are brand new drills on ebay for £12 and in Aldi too.... And you can get the drill stand for not a lot more.... See if anybody else bids....

Just bought a 10 iron for £6 from the really cheap sports shop in the arndale... They had plenty of other ones.... For £8... Also is anyone here bidding on that drill? Cos there's a bid on it at the mo... And it's not mine....

TBH, it's really old kit, i remember using my days one about 20 years ago... fuck i'm old... anyway... don't think it'll go for too much... as an alternative we could just get a drill stand that'll fit Ste's drill.... or just buy an old electric dril & stand separately...
An electric, instead of battery drill would be much better if we want to create a mallet production line... IMHO....
ADAM I AM INTO THAT, that kind of serious toolage gives me the horn. what's our budget? i would pay 15-20 on my own for that. all i can afford atm.
looks like good kit though, might go for a lot.
