IMO - its not a fashion show tbf the sheer numbers should be the importance not the pressure of finding the correct attire.

I think a flower would be enough.
From what I gather Eilidh was a fun, take me as I am person. Maybe black is too morbid? People were told specifically NOT to wear black to my gran's funeral.

EASTER VINTAGE JERSEY RIDE
(WORKING TITLE)I am planning a ride for the Easter weekend (10th-13th April). Which day exactly is still TBC depending on general concensus. Please voice your opinions here. I realise many of you will be making plans already.
The 'theme' will be Vintage Cycling Jerseys, inspired by the Milk Race, Jacques Antequil and Eddy Merckx amongst others. So get on the bay and down to What Goes Around! We want to see pre 90s cycling caps and team jerseys!
This post is an inital notice so that people can suggest their preferred day, and hold off making other plans for that weekend for now. I will update this OP as and when details are confirmed (and the spokecard is finished being designed).

EASTER VINTAGE JERSEY RIDE - SUNDAY 12th APRIL
(A.K.A VJ DAY)THIS IS A SOCIAL RIDE. NOT A RACE.
**STARTS AT 1PM SHARP FROM SMITHFIELDS MARKET, SO PLEASE BE THERE BY 12.30PM. **
SHOULD REACH END (SCOLT HEAD IN DE BEAUVOIRTOWN) BY 6PM.
FIRST GLIMPSE OF THE ROUTE (WILL CHANGE SLIGHTLY BEFORE, OR EVEN ON, THE DAY):
URL for this route is: URL for this route is: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2708673
Route based on best views, traffic levels, and most fun to ride.
FRONT BRAKE IS RECOMMENDED*FOR JERSEYS, PLEASE SPEAK TO COPPITHAT, OR VISIT EBAY. (CONVICTS OF THE ROAD ARE A GOOD BET AND IF YOU QUOTE LFGSS YOU WILL GET 1st CLASS POSTAGE FOR FREE. AND THEY ARE BASED IN LONDON).*
The long Easter weekend is fast approaching and everybody is making plans. Why not take a break from bills, brackets, beer and bargins and get some fresh air? This is a fantastic opportunity to get outside, on your two wheeled machine, and see some of the best countryside zones 1-6 has to offer.
Think Eddy Merckx, Jacques Anquetil, the Milk Race, Tour De France (but at a reduced speed of course!). Picture cutting through this green and pleasant land whilst coated in history. Down those tools and pint glasses (at least whilst riding), dust off that jersey and don that Faema cap! Suck in that expanding waistline, and push for the finishline!
Come recreate the glory days. The days of thunder. The days of Sex, lies and Handlebar Tape!
Alternatively you could come and sweat bullets in a garish woolen jersey with a bunch of mates on bikes, ride round some streets, fields and woods, then sink a few jars in the pub at the end.
Any help printing and lamminating the spokecards nearer the day would be much appreciated. I am also producing a routecard for the ride. I can provide more details to whoever can help.

Another Gazelle Champion Mondial in the Uk.

52cm bb to top, and 58cm top tube c/c. Is a 58cm top tube large for a 52cm frame?
been thinking about this. 52 and 58 does sound odd. Does anybody think that is right? Is is just built for somebody with long arms and/or short legs?

A short ride to the area, maybe from Hyde Park, and a moment of silence at the spot.
The spokecard, I think would be a constant reminder/tribute. Everybody could donate £1/£2 for a spokecard on the day and the money donated to the family, or charity of their choice.
Any further action to prevent another death too would be long overdue.
