I've lived in Brixton for 8 years. As the listmaster I suggest that you rejig the list so that it goes by length of time living in Brixton and then uses a complex algorithm covering proximity and length of time in various other south london locales to determine priority for the rest.

I think you might be better off asking Cartman to do this than Spaghoops...

Hope people don't mind me posting it here.

I've got a place to rent just off Clapham High Street (30 secs), 3 minutes from the Common and very close to Clapham Common tube, Clapham High Street rail and the various buses that pass through. Oh, and a two minute ride from South beers...

The place has just been refurbished and decorated and has a brand new fitted kitchen and appliances, new underfloor heating and can be furnished or unfurnished. It's part of a bigger house technically, but is an annex with its own front door and hall, bathroom and good sized studio (with good storage). I will measure up for anyone who wants to know the size of the rooms and will have photos tomorrow.

Looking for £200 per week inclusive of bills and would be nice to get someone in through here rather than an agency or gumtree, etc. PM me if you're interested or want to know more.

Time does help, but there's no quick route to getting over this kind of pain, which I think you know. Being around good friends/family can be a real help. Don't take any rash decisions about anything right now, just see if there are people you can be with to carry you through it for a while.

You have my sympathy, it's shit and feels so unfair. But it will be OK. Someone very close to me went through an utterly gut-wrenching split years ago. I sat with her in her kitchen one day for what felt like hours, both of us hardly saying anything.
