Stephen Kinnock???
Don’t worry that won’t happen.
Remember that the Tory media who are bugging up certain candidates and dismissing others while setting the ground rules for profile of their ideal candidate don’t actually get a vote. Also remember, that for all they say about getting someone in touch with the northern working man, they voted for Boris Johnson as leader of the Tory party and their new found beloved northern working men voted for him as well.

which manifesto this year struck you as the most credible? did you vote for that party?
The Tories won partially because their manifesto said nothing and therefore left nothing to be attacked. Labour’s manifesto was 120 pages of detail which allowed for ample lines of attack.
The Tories also did well by avoiding any scrutiny of their record by persuading everyone that they had not been running the country for the past nine years.

I was sat next to a toddler who’d been sick on themselves in the back of a car on the A1, watching it on my phone whilst trying to comfort them.
My analysis is don’t drive up to see the in laws on their timetable, it’ll only make your life more difficult. And mourinho may have to sacrifice one of the attacking three to shore up a midfield that currently can’t defend well enough and can’t progress the ball.I had to watch on my iPad at the lunch table while we “entertained” the in laws. My daughters moved their chairs so that they could watch. The in laws guzzled at the other end of the table while MrsO hit the wine in desperation.

It was a bit of a scrap, wasn't it?
We outplayed them. They lost their collective rag. Nothing scrappy about the performances that Willian and Mount put in.
They could, quite easily, have had three reds. Son obviously but the goalkeeper and Sissiko could have gone and their offences were probably worse than Son’s. Ali could also have gone on another day.
The spirit of the Sheriff lives on at Tottenham. Mourinho will have his work cut out to make them into a football team once again and I suspect he is beyond that now. He has lost interest. Even conceded that the penalty was correctly given (leaving Anthony Taylor as the only person who didn’t see it that way).

The fabric of the estates may have improved since the 1990s but the lives of those within them has not. Cuts to social services; underemployment and benefits cuts have really taken their toll. Added to which all the decent properties have gone due to right to buy some 60% of which are now private rentals. People’s lives are tough today. And they are being ignored.

Also worth pointing out that many of those estates have had huge investment and pretty nice with excellent playgrounds, outdoor spaces, etc.
Islington Council has done an amazing job despite a 70% - yes 70% - reduction in funding. There is still huge deprivation on those estates. They need money spent on them. There needs to be more social housing. The money simply is not there.

also clive, y not nandy?
I don’t know so much about Nandy. She May be good but she hasn’t impressed me in the way that the others have with their charisma. We need photogenic politicians, ones who perform well in the media. This is perhaps sad but also true. Maybe Nandy has it. I just haven’t seen it yet.

Sounds like you know her personally, maybe your judgement is skewed
I do know her. I was her Election Agent. I have seen her at work. I know how activists from throughout the party and voters warm to her. I have heard her speak on numerous occasions. She is inspirational.
I know her. Maybe my judgment is based upon first hand knowledge and not tabloid slurs.

In other owner news, seems that Abramovich is getting his working visa back.
So just after an election during which a report on Russian interference in our political system was suppressed and at a time when it appears that some of the largest donors to the ruling party are Russian, this happens. What a sweet coincidence.
