Pretty pleased with the build (shout out to Alex @ Dead Rats Cycles in MCR)
Only thing I'm not about is the stem - looks a bit too chunky for the frame?
Was thinking of getting one of these.. looks like it might suit a steel frame slightly better - https://velo-orange.com/products/vo-tall-stack-threadless-stem-31-8-rise -

Cheers, useful to read someone else's experience.
Yeah it's weird - at the moment I'd say about three quarters of my runs feel a lot harder than they should.
I ran a 10k PB back in December (38:12) and despite running pretty consistently since then (few little niggles but nothing major) I feel like I'd struggle to run sub-43 at the moment. I suppose the lack of races means I haven't had much motivation to do any 'proper' training.I'd really like to know for sure if it is covid related.

When do you think you might have had it?
I kind of feel the same.. really struggling to get decent fitness back despite running pretty regularly and doing decent mileage. Lungs feel they're having to work too hard etc. I was feeling covidy rough in feb/march.. dunno - maybe it's just psychosomatic?!

I tried a couple of years ago to cut out salt and oil but basically flopped pretty quickly.
I'm a lot more confident/proficient in the kitchen now tho and have pretty much managed to go oil-free. Actually been surprisingly easy once you get used to not starting every meal with a massive glug of oil in the pan!
Gonna be much harder to cut out salt tho. And yeah, no way I could live without nuts! I think the more hardcore Esselstyn approach is for people with existing heart conditions etc, hence minimum fat intake.
Where are you based?
Cheers
