I kinda like the infinity height. I kinda don't like it...
Downham Rd can be easy to sort out, height of the wall.
Brick Lane and other courts with fixed goals... self explanatory
Mitchison, where we don't use the fixed goal and Peckham carpark should probably observe a regulated height.700c seems way too small to me and would put alot of goals we've always counted without question as too high. Plus it leaves only the bottom bracket and the main triangle as a goal area if someone is parked in front of the goal - is that a positive or negative point?
Toptube height is as standard as 'a bike width' for width of goals. So if there's enough interest in setting a height, I vote for toptube (for now...).

Nice one Rik! I always have a spare mallet or two with me. I know, a far drop from the 7/8 I used to drag down to brick lane every sunday! (most of you don't remember that though...)
I have nearly a dozen mallet heads cut between 6 and 5 inches long. All you need to do is smooth the ends a bit on the pavement, drill a hole in the centers and attach a pole. Donations of beer is accepted in trade.
I also have a few balls, mostly the softer/cold weather ones if anybody wants to trade for beers I usually have a couple spare in my bag.

nes...i suggest you remove your number or edit it in some way.
second dibs on the phone edit. But go MCR!
I took the liberty to do so but only just...
Manchester Dropouts and co. came down with some pretty good teams for a couple tourneys so don't count them out!
Nes, are you lot still using wooden mallets?

Wow! I don't look at this thing for a couple days and all hell's broken loose! No wonder nobody new shows up to polo with the insane lot around here...
Thanks for the suggestions! Now I'll shoot them down one by one:
22t is way too small unless you run something like a 12, 13 or 14 in the back! Would save on bending a chainring, though I've seen pics of them snapped. It would definitely open up the '5th hole'...
Yea, £24 is a bit steep. Especially for a flimsy 3/32 carbon 10spd job... And yea, my cranks were a fiver, everything else came free, in trade or as a part of something else that was actually wanted/needed/valuable!
I have that sugino 34t watched but really want a 39 so I don't have to change anything else. 34x24 would be too spinny! 34x20 would be ok though apart from skid spots.

See above, we can do three. Or wait until you're back... I'm away from 19th to 1st.

Out of the two? Head. There's quite a few I'd like to aim for!!!
It just seems like it would be easier to judge. And I think that's about the same height as the Downham ct. wall.
