is the idea just to use it as a stop gap to get you home - 2nd tyre in a week that has been slashed by london's famous shitty streets

should i just leave the boot in or just ditch the tyre entirely

i do now have a schwalbe durano plus to install, which may be a more reliable course of action

I will not let the boot inside forever, in my experience the boot will eventually puncture the tube with the edges, 4-5 days will be ok, tho

with the pressure of the tube, nothing will get inside so dont worry for that

if you want to reuse the tire why dont glue the tire together with superglue and patch it up with a big patch in the inside, also works

in polo is very normal to use boots, as we skid through the tires in regular bases and you need something the get you home

but you can cut through that with a nail clippers
