It arrived already. very nice! I like it so much i'm tempted to sell my jazzmaster and my jagstang to get something a bit different, a semi hollow long scale, maybe a tele or a rickenbacker

Its very different to all those examples, my guitar doesnt have sponsors slapped all over it but i would happily ride a debadged Cancellara bike or drive a silver rally spec lancia delta! Also I dont gig so it's only for bedroom playing and it really is the trend with guitars, every guitar i have bought over the last 25 years has been inspired by a player or band rather than straight aesthetics. I cant see it being a forever guitar either, i'll probably remove the mastery bits and move it on when i've had some fun, Then i'll go back to my django reinhardt gypsy guitar, my elvis costello jazzmaster, my kurt jagstang, my david bowie 12 string and my robert smith bass vi 😜

yeah i agree, however i like the idea of someone recreating Kurt Cobains guitar exactly as it was - so it's more of a replica than a 'smashed up to make it look used because i can't be bothered'. The big thing for me is that i can lean it up against a wall or slide it onto wooden floor boards with no fear that a knock or scratch will damage it.
We'll see how i get on with it when it arrives but i got it for a price that i won't lose any money on if i decide to sell on

The mastery bridge and tremolo fix all that, i had one on my jazzmaster and its perfection. really expensive upgrade but does exactly what it says on the tin! (i now have to figure out how to gold-plate so i can fit to my blonde JM)

I was never sold on 'roadworn' however this isn't random but a replica of Kurt Cobains jaguar, with the added fun of an aged mastery bridge and tremolo which will make it solid as a rock. This is planned to be around the house wherever so i don't mind if it gets knocked (and won't even notice!)

i have a baby now so should probably grow up and sell a bike to pay for more sensible things so the least used should go i reckon - what do people think this is worth?
it started life as a 90's Steel pinarello track bike which i had the lovely chris marshall in keithley chop out the head tube and replace for a 44ID tapered headtube (made for me by field cycles), place a brake bridge at the rear, sort out internal cable routing, add a stop for the outer to make the hub work and tidy up the rear dropouts, fit carbon fork and respray 'light titanium' as per my brief
It's built up as a road S3X (3 speed fixed) but can be made into a 3 speed freewheel too
it has a ceramic BB, carbon cranks, mavic ceramic open pros, gold tech front hub, sram brakes, crank bros carbon seat post and stem and brooks carbon C15 saddle. i did some nice minimal pinaerello graphics too. it also has a stamped pinarello BB which is a nice touch
sizing is i think 59 square or there abouts. what ya reckon? sell on here? eBay? too nice? split it?

Car needs some work, bank balance not healthy, young baby at home - Nomos Metro should probably go... anyone interested? Mint condition, still has 18months left on the guarantee...
