squier jazzmaster baritone is nice but i personally would choose the danelectro, regularly sell for around £200 and danos are generally ace.
I have a bass VI but would like a baritone too so maybe at christmas

I've bought and sold on both reverb and ebay, both have merit for sure, but only when there is an offer on of course.

Yorkshire. It's ace. I've been here most of my life but my job mainly involves london clients so i'm down your way several times a month as it's less than 2 hours for York to London KK by rail. I've considered living in London several times but always come back to 'lovely place to visit but not to live' I think it very much depends on the industry you work in though, some jobs just don't translate out of the city.

I had an XC70 as a courtesy car for 3 months last year which was quite nice to drive but that amount of ordinary would send me round the bend.

That is very boring, with only 5000 miles a year total probably only 1000 with family, slow speeds of 65 on the motorway, a ladder frame construction and a hefty weight we'll be fine, just hope no-one crashes into us as their car will be mullered. Also for the small initial investment i'm less likely to lose all of my money if/when i sell it on with potential to actually make money which would be nice.
