In truth, the disc option is the ideal, but also hugely unlikely and no doubt more costly. Im interested for sure, depending on price and condition etc. Also I live in Bristol so shipping....? I've never used that type of fitting before, only regular solid axle and nuts. Its sturdy enough for fixed yes? (thats probably a silly question really but I gotta ask....)..

Fair enough, I totally understand. Interestingly though, in my experience, they don't stretch, at least not in any way that makes them more comfy/looser for me. The 42.5 katanas are my current pair, but they have gotten tighter to the point they are too uncomfortable on me. This has happened with all my rock shoes after some time. Just bought a replacement pair in the same size. They'll be great for about 6 months then start to hurt again.. unusual apparently, but normal for me sadly.

Not until the end of april im afraid, and even then I'll be working like crazy so might be a pickle to make it happen. I know its not the best situation.

For reference, im a 43 in sneakers. My 2nd toe is as long as my big toe, and my big toe is straight. These shoes are comfy for me shape wise, but feet and shapes vary wildly. You could try for shape/size in somewhere loike cotswold outdoor? They are likely to have the tarantula. And the katana is similar shape wish, just more aggressive..

My favourite centre of all is Vauxwall.... Love that place. Im spoilt for choice here in Bristol, but I still preferred that place...

Emptying my cupboards of rock boots i don't need anymore in varying states of wear. All owned only by me (only 1 set of sweaty feet rather than the grim who knows how many of hire shoes). Maybe good for people less toe-y than me. All could be patched/resoled. The folks at Vauxwall know someone local who do vibram patches.... As per title.

Brooks was bought new by me and used a fair bit, but it seems i have a funny action in my pelvis in that it dips to the right when i push with my right foot. This means the Brooks , being malleable, has a slight lean to the right in it. Tried to show in the pictures. Its not huge, but noticeable to look at. I haven't used it for a few years now, in preference of a more supportive saddle. Not easy to see but its the green colour, which is fairly dark now to be honest.
