I've been cycling in Bath a bit recently. I go there quite regularly as I still have a lot of friends there.
Struggled a bit on 48x16. Down the canal to Bristol is always a nice ride fixed though.
Can't comment on personal experience about Bathh CC, but my friend joined them for a few rides a while back. I asked him why he stopped recently and he said it was because they were boring. Don't shoot the messenger.

Just a couple of things I'm about to eBay. One is bike related so I thought I might as well post both.
First ...Topeak MTX BeamRack (A-Type) and side pannier bits (which are extra)
Bought it last Wednesday. Used it for about 200 miles to Belgium and back and it was great. It's the mountain bike model (a bit stronger), but it fits onto my seat tube, emerging beautifully above the rear brake and I suspect it will do the same on most road bikes. All are welcome to test first.
I paid £50 for it including the side bits, so I guess £30 (not posted). I'll discuss postage but I'd prefer not to.
Second ... Not bike related but I think there's a market for it. M-Audio Delta 1010 Audio Interface. Just replaced it a couple of weeks ago with a shiny new interface. Had the breakout box for about 4 years although the PCI card was replaced about 2 years ago in order to work in a G5. It works with Pro-Tools. A couple of buttons have fallen out of the back which seems to be a recurring problem with these but you can still press the buttons just the same. (See pictures)
£150 o.n.o
More than happy to meet most places in London.

I'm doing my first North's tonight to see a man about a seatpost. Gonna be a flying visit because I also need to pick some stuff up at SE's so I was wondering if anyone was planning a drinks migration south this evening?
@Spins ... I'm coming from Soho. Any good?

The brakes on Unipack's don't work anyway. Might as well go brakeless. Probably safer because you're not expecting them to stop the bike.
I'm from Portsmouth and I went back there with my bike earlier in the year. It was good, I went around some of my old skater haunts. I didn't see any fixed gear anything though and I was a bit disappointed. I reckon it's a city that lends itself to a scene. What a shame it's got off to such a bad start.

*The **'Si wants to finish the dam polo bike' *Project
Hello all, I just need a few bits to finish a polo bike I am building so I can stop borrowing peoples and start practicing and getting good.
If anyone has these it would be rewarded with a. love, b. beer or c. cash...
**- 26.4mm seatpost
- rear wheel (unlikely I know)
- 32h rim (I have a rear hub you see and can always build a wheel)**
Cheers!
